NZX Agri is a market leader in publishing and data analysis for the rural sector in New Zealand, with many links to respected publications from Australia, the United States and Europe. The firm came to Control F1 looking to grow its digital and e-learning offer.
NZX Agri’s Head of Digital, Julian Gairdner, explained: "Publishing is a knowledge transfer business. It's what we've always done. But now our audience and our commercial partners are increasingly expecting more interaction from our content and better ways to engage”.
Control F1 looked at ways in which to bring the e-learning project to life and to provide a meaningful, intuitive solution for presenting users with the latest global developments in the rural sector. This consultation phase led to the creation of AgriHQ Academy; a website which puts the user in control of their own learning, with a wide and growing range of modules on offer. Users can choose their own modules and are given third party accreditation after being tested on their new knowledge, all through a single platform.
The resulting e-learning platform has secured a new revenue stream for NZX Agri’s growing digital offering, and put the business firmly ahead of both traditional and non-traditional competitors.
Here’s what NZX Agri had to say: "Control F1 were already a business I knew with a track record of delivering what I wanted, so my expectations were high that they would deliver on time and to budget – which they did. Working with Control F1 – despite the distance and different time zones – has been easy.” -Julian Gairdner, Head of Digital, NZX Agri
